Before Sonder photographed weddings, it photographed galaxies.
Jake grew up beside his Dad, spending countless nights behind a telescope, capturing distant galaxies together. Those evenings sparked more than a love of photography, they taught him that the moments worth preserving are often the ones that disappear the quickest.
Today, that same philosophy lives on through Sonder. Instead of photographing the universe above us, we document the one that exists between people and their connection.

The people quietly weaving through your wedding day with cameras in hand and genuine excitement for everything that's unfolding around us.
You'll probably find Jake calming nerves while the ties are being tied, laughing with your bridal party, or making your guests feel like they're just as important as the couple standing at the altar.
You'll find Teoni noticing the little things everyone else walks past, the way your dress catches the afternoon light, the handwritten note tucked into the jacket pocket of the groom or the flowers that took months choosing.
By the end of the day, we don't want to feel like the photographers you hired.
